In order to uphold such care, the right character, experienced supervisor will be selected for this position.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Daycare Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage playgroups during daycare hours, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all dogs.

- Train and mentor daycare attendants on proper handling techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

- Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and progress, adjusting training plans as needed to meet individual needs.

- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on their pets' activities, behavior, and any special instructions or concerns.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in daycare and boarding areas, including regular cleaning and sanitization of play areas, equipment, and kennels adhering to company standards and protocols.

- Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and payments with professionalism and courtesy.

- Assist with marketing (social media) and promotional efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a Dog Daycare, kennel, or similar environment.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Advanced knowledge of dog behavior, breed characteristics, and basic training principles.

- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

- Certification in pet CPR and first aid preferred.

- Must be physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
