Dog DayCamp Lead

The DayCamp Lead at The K9 Spot is accountable for day-to-day operations currently in place at The K9 Spot, staff management, customer relations, and ensuring that all processes & systems are being followed. You will be the first point of contact for the team during your shift & for owners retrieving their dogs from our facility.

OPERATIONS:

· Responsible for :

• Oversee lodging & daycamp operations*
• Ensuring the safety of dogs, the team & customers at all times
• Supporting staff regarding dog behavior, health, customer issues, etc.
• Completing end-of-day reports, & reporting to owner
• Keep established customer service standards met
• Keeping communication lines between the team & clients
• Seek opportunities to develop professional relationships with clients
• Scheduling & canceling reservations
• Updating client files & communicating needed updates

*Must be able to adher to procedures & systems in place to ensure safety, efficiency & maximizing productivity.

STAFF MANAGEMENT:

· Responsible for:

• Monitoring, training, leading, & coaching of the team with on-going performance
• Evaluating the team on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis, for evaluation purposes

CUSTOMER RELATIONS:

·Responsible for:

• Taking & returning phone calls
• Reading & responding to emails
• Engaging with clients to maintain a happy, profession relationship

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ year experience in a team lead position at a lodging kennel, dog daycare, or farm setting
• 1+ year in a team lead position of at least 5 people
• Strong track record of successful customer service
• Strong track record of staff management

STAFFING MANAGEMENT:

• Ability to provide consistent, strong leadership & coaching to the team
• Ability to empower others with appropriate oversight

• Sets clear objectives & measurements regarding tasks & decisions
• Monitors process, progress & results and has a feedback loop in place
• Responsible for coverage of shifts in short-notice/emergency/on call situations

• Ability to follow set systems to ensure operational efficiencies
• Demonstrable, ability to make good decisions based on analysis & judgment
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail

• Ability to work independently & make sound decisions
• Ability to accept accountability for role as Team Lead.

PAY

At your interview we will discuss your experience, your goals & expectations of your employment with our company. In which we will decide your starting pay. Starting pay for the position rages from $15-20.

*Split shift available for more hours, currently Monday & Friday 8a-Noon
**3rd Saturday off every Month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 – 36 per week
