Three Dog Ranch in Whitefish, Montana is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our growing business. We are located at 5395 US Hwy 93, 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 15 minutes from Kalispell. We offer free daycare for our staff so you don't have to leave your best friend at home! (some restrictions apply). Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable and loves dogs! Advancement opportunity available for the candidate who would like to progress to a supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels
• Handling dogs
• General maintenance
• Checking in and out customers
• Feeding and medicating pets
• Bathing dogs
• Laundry
• Possibly transporting pets
• Scoop poop and clean play yards
• and of course, show dogs lots of love!

The right candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Pet care experience
• Computer software knowledge
• General office procedures such as answering phones, greeting clients
• Be on time for scheduled shifts
• Must be self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Be a team player
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Willingness to work weekends, evening shifts, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50#
• Reliable transportation

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Part-time or Full-Time available. Must be able to work at least two weekends, both Saturday and Sunday per month. Compensation is $15.00 - $17.00/hour DOE.
