Dog Bather

Do you have a passion for animals and animal care? Are you good at giving belly rubs and neck scratches?

Then you have come to the right place!

We are recruiting for Dog Bather to join our team at Finger Lakes Dog Resort located at 1296 Beaver Creek Rd. Farmington, NY 14425. You will be joining a team of pet lovers who takes care of pets while the pet parents are out and about.

Responsibilities:

• Bathing and light grooming of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperament
• Brushing, fluffing, and drying all dogs in a safe and timely manner
• Trimming nails, cleaning ears, and removing eye crust
• Cleaning bathing area after use and ensuring a clean and safe working environment
• Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all pet parents and staff

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
• Passion for helping and treating animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Must love dogs - we have a lot of them :)
