Documentation Control Specialist

Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year DOE

Location: Troy, MI

This is an on-site position (full time, in office role)

60-70 hours during season, 40-50 in off-season

The Documentation Control Specialist is a full-time position and will report to the Division Manager.

Position Details:

• The Documentation Control Specialist will play a vital role in the organization and completion of all assigned projects from the ground up.
• This position will be responsible for processing paperwork, analyzing construction plans and maps.
• Ensure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans
• This position will work closely with both the scheduling department and also the estimating department.
• The ideal candidate will be focused, forward thinking and flexible.
• The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
• Identify and resolve complex issues as they arise

Requirements:

• High proficiency in Excel and 3 plus years of experience in all Microsoft Office products strongly preferred.
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills required
• Monday-Saturday during the Construction Season/Monday-Friday in the off-season
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field a plus
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and industry-best practices
• The recruitment process will include phone interviews, in-person interview, and a pre-employment background check and drug test

• 10 hour shift
