Summary

CellCarta is in search of a Documentation and Quality Control Supervisor based out of our Lake Forest CA Laboratory. As a leader within our Documentation and QC team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Project Assistants and QC specialists, as assigned.
• Oversee and complete QC of pathologist-generated data
• Oversee completion of pathologist review sheets generated by project assistants
• Oversee management of stained microscope slide inventory
• Collaborate with Department Team Leads and project managers to ensure data and project deliverables are being completed on time
• Create SOPs and edit/revise for relevant team procedures and forms
• Complete final QC of project study files upon project completion
• Monitoring of Failure Rate / Occurrence / Deviation Metrics
• QC of discrepancy updates for sample accessioning
• Maintain a current knowledge base of regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices, trends, and standards to ensure the QC function remains in compliance with applicable company requirements and global regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager

Education

• Bachelor of Science required
• Master of Science or M.B.A preferred

Requirements

• 3-5 years of QC experience in a laboratory or scientific setting.
• Experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, grammatical, and spelling skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
