Document Validation Specialist

CN3S is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Document Validation Specialists. In this role, you will work closely with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide support to citizens and first responders in building, sustaining, and improving our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all emergency hazards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and FEMA Public Assistance and/or Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) experience, and a technical background in the design and/or construction of public infrastructure.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Document Validation Specialist: $70,000 - $90,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Document Validation Specialist Responsibilities Include:

• Ideal background includes technical experience in the design and/or construction of public infrastructure.
• Valuable skill types and experience include: engineers, architects, cost estimators, construction inspectors/managers.
• Candidates with an accounting/financial background may be suitable as well.
• Draft, prepare, and review quotes, bids, and reports for construction related projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
• Travel required to remote locations for long-term project work.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned

Document Validation Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• FEMA Public Assistance and/or Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related field of study.

• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft® Office suite of software in particular MS Word®, MS Excel®, and MS Access®.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly in English, and able to read and write effectively in English.
• Must be capable of working independently or as a team as circumstances dictate.
• Must possess and maintain a driver’s license.
• The duties of this position are performed 95% in a climate-controlled office environment and 5% in the field. Long-term travel assignments are mandatory.
