Job Title
DNA Product Architect
Important info about this role:
  • We're better together! This role is fully on-site / all 5 days in the office for the first 90 days, and Monday through Thursday after that (Fridays can be optional)

What does a great DNA Product Architect do?
You will support and enhance products by developing and reviewing new software applications, and by enhancing and maintaining existing software applications. You will implement software code changes to meet new business requirements and to conform to regulatory requirements. You will work within a team, work on projects independently and lead other developers within technical aspects of a project. You will work with other areas of the Development staff to develop and complete the project within deadlines. You will work closely with Project Lead as and when required for project status reporting. You will be working with other Subject Matter Experts to help design and protect the DNA product.
What will you do:
  • Discuss functional and technical issues with Business Analysts and Architects.
  • Model and translate business requirement to a database architecture and design.
  • Focus on Design, architecture as well as code development using PL/SQL
  • Responsible for the code quality resulting in an excellent customer experience.
  • Ability to work in scrum/feature team in various capacities and get the desired results.
  • Process performance tuning and debugging.
  • Analyze, design, develop, code, test, and maintain software systems.
  • Escalate Risks/Issues in work tasks as soon as observed.
  • Evaluate and help build/implement tools for automate code review and standards validations.
  • Review/Build out APIs

What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a Bank / Credit Union or financial banking services
  • Should have solid understanding of Fiserv's DNA product
  • Ability to review design documents and review code based on DNA standards.
  • 10+ years of full SDLC experience (analyze, design, development, test, maintenance, support) at large financial organizations
  • 5+ years of recent experience with Oracle database architecture and design
  • Experience with ERA methods or Systems design experience from Relational Database modeling to architectural design.
  • 10+ years of experience with database development using Oracle PL/SQL, including performance tuning and debugging
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces)
  • Advanced database concepts like data normalization, limit redundancy, data integrity, optimization, etc
  • Ability to code from technical requirements and design specification documents
  • Self-directed and highly motivated work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in independent as well as team environments

What would be great to have:
  • Prior experience with SQR, Angular and/or C# .net
  • Prior experience with Jira, Confluence
  • Prior experience with Rest APIs (approach, design and reviews)
