Summary
HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Engineer to act as a subject matter expert for the US Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The candidate will review, design, troubleshoot, and guide AFSOC engineers in designing and implementing multiple cloud based solutions to support US Air Force customers. The selected candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be capable of understanding complex systems.
What you will do

• Review cloud systems designs and provide recommendations and guidance on implementation.
• Collaborate and field questions for managers, technical leads, engineers, and other stakeholders across six teams for dozens of products on a daily basis.
• Analize system designs and design or recommend measures to reduce costs, improve security, and automation.
• Participate as a stakeholder in change configuration boards.
• Assist the Senior System Engineer with making informed decisions, completing tasks, tracking risks and impacts.
• Help solve issues related to integrating custom cloud services.
• Recommend broad (but not necessarily deep) experience in cyber security, networking, and web based development.
• Must be great at tracking multiple risks, issues, action items, and tasks across multiple products.
• This is an on-site position at Hurlburt Field, FL.

What you must have

• Must have 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Must have a Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud certification.
• Experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud, Air Force Cloud One, Platform One, or similar cloud service provider.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to clients, stakeholders, and team members in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps.
• Must be a self-starter, proactive, and able to work as part of a larger professional team.
• Must hold a current or active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience designing or developing solutions for: Identity and Access Management, Single-Sign On, Android tactical systems, containers, microservices, cross-domain solutions, mobile content management, mobile device management, building size networks, online training systems
• Experience with databases.
• Experience with high level programming languages like Python.
