Join the largest and most rapidly growing DJ company in the DFW Metroplex, LeForce Entertainment. The DJ apprentice position is part-time 10-20 hours a weekend. Your primary roles would be to set up and strike sound equipment and to learn to program and mix music live at events. It's a great way to gain experience in the wedding and private event industry while being part of an incredible team. Opportunities for growth and additional training to become a full-time member of our team.
- Set up and operate a sound system
- Create fun interactions for our clients
- Play great music to get our client's guests dancing.
Required
- Fun, outgoing personality
- Your own reliable transportation & liability insurance
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor to approximately 5ft high
- Ability to work weekend afternoons & evenings
- Own a smartphone that you can answer quickly, especially via text
- Extremely Punctual
- Problem Solver & Fast Learner
- Minimum High School or Equivalent education
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Experience
- Background in music (singing, playing an instrument, or composing)
- The ability to BPM mix with Serato, Virtual DJ, Traktor, or Rekordbox
- Proficient in Apple OS X
- Proficient with Pioneer controllers
- Knowledge of Professional Grade Audio Gear
