Description:
The Site Lead is responsible for daily task organization, implementation, and execution of activities relating to both general agriculture and small livestock. General agriculture activities can include but are not limited to irrigation, planting, harvesting, fertilizing, weeding, pest and disease management, and general site maintenance. Small Livestock activities can include but are not limited to general animal husbandry, livestock health management, disease control, feeding and feed collection+processing, breeding, harvesting, and record keeping. The Site Lead will work closely with the Site Manager and is expected to assist their manager with overall planning strategies for maximum yields, site beautification, and good resource production.
Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of agricultural work experience and/or education.
• This position will be responsible for leading and managing staff in daily tasks and help achieve the overall goal of producing safe high-quality products raised in an environmentally sustainable manner.
• Experience in using hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry is preferred.
• Employees are expected to adhere to all employee and food safety protocols and work in a productive manner with their management and co-workers. Employees must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for an extended period of time. Will be required to utilize and handle farm inputs such as fertilizers and pest control products.
• Supervisory experience is preferred. The Site Lead must be an efficient leader with great communication and organizational skills.

Schedule:
Full-time. Open availability to include weekends and holidays required.
