Job Summary
Windsor is currently seeking a District Manager to join our Windsor Family and oversee our Indianapolis Market. Like any member of the family, the District Manager is expected to represent Windsor and it's mission statement with integrity. The District Manager directs, coaches, and provides leadership for all of their assigned stores. The fundamental duties of this role include managing sales, store management, recruiting and staffing, associate relations/development, merchandising, loss prevention and expense control within their assigned district. They are held accountable for achieving district and overall company profitability expectations in terms of sales, shrink, payroll, expenses and any decisions that directly affect store performance. The District Manager should be an exceptional leader, be approachable, extremely goal-oriented and of course, fashionable!
Essential Job Functions:

• Communicates and monitors district/company sales goals and reports individual store results
• Coordinates effective meetings and trainings for store management
• Serves as key communicator between stores and corporate headquarters
• Adheres to and enforces all company policies and procedures, store guidelines and State/Federal laws
• Recruits and trains to ensure adequate staffing for their district
• Monitors payroll and controls store expenses
• Ensures stores are complying with company visual standards
• Protects company assets
• Communicates opportunity and follows up on store marketing needs
• Frequently develops and reviews employees, holds them equally accountable and offers constructive performance feedback

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3+ years of retail management experience
• Advanced leadership experience
• Ability to manage, develop and motivate a team of up to 15 stores
• Able to resolve issues/complaints from both associates and customers appropriately and effectively
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Works well under pressure and meets company-wide deadlines
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Thrives in both a one and one and group setting
• Must be able to travel/drive as needed
