Distribution Demand Analyst
Location: Bridgeport, NJ (Remote)

The DC Demand Analyst will be responsible for blending their knowledge of Operations and Inventory, analytical acumen, and data modeling/visualization skills to identify Warehouse optimization opportunities. Create data reporting to support slotting strategies, KPI data development and reporting, Warehouse space utilization and capacity reporting. This position will work with Senior Management in identifying business opportunities, creating effective presentations to business leadership to help prioritize warehouse operations optimization opportunities.
• Analyze, measure, and recommend optimization solutions within Operations. Develop, analyze recommend and lead implementation opportunities for improvements that optimize logistics processes around productivity, transportation cost and performance metrics by utilizing the knowledge of logistics, operations, and production planning.
• Learn/Use knowledge of Eclipse ERP System to analyze program performance metrics for developing trends, revealed risks and systemic problems.
• Take raw data and interpret, draw inferences and professional presentation Data and/or financial findings.
• Work closely with members of the Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure Warehouse optimization, improvement in operations costs and achieving company goals.
• Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience working with medium to large datasets.
- Strategic Thinkers – someone who looks at data in a variety of ways to break down the drivers or financial levers.
- Analytical Problem Solvers – someone who doesn’t see just a problem, but numerous solution alternatives.
- Advanced computer software skills (Excel, Pivot tables, PowerQuery, SQL)
- Experience with a Business Intelligence platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc)
