Distribution Manager will:
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in receivables, storage, service repair, rentals, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products by performing the following duties:
- Reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, rental orders, shipping orders, or requisitions and develops processes to ensure accurate on-time shipping across multiple distribution sites.
- Creates and manages branch flow strategy with each location to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Manages daily activities in the warehouse and ensures materials and items are in designated areas
- Fills requisitions, work orders, rentals and material requests for distribution to technicians
- Oversees workflow within the department including TJA (tech job assignment), open order reporting, turn-around and utilization metrics.
- Maintains accurate records by ensuring items are properly coded and entered into CRM/ERP systems for all locations
- Verify order accuracy and ensure client satisfaction
- Oversee all building, facilities, and vehicle maintenance issues
- Will oversee fleet management for rentals
- Conduct interviewing, training, planning, and employee evaluations
Experience Required
- Minimum two (6) years related experience
- Ability to manage and mentor subordinates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Must be able to walk the warehouse consistently and handle routine physical tasks demanded in a warehouse environment
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Valid drivers license
- BONUS: Experience with Prexa 365 and Salesforce
