Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Materials Management or related discipline preferred (will consider equivalent combination of education and work experience)
- Experience in leading unionized teams
- Food and Cold Chain compliance
- Turnaround experience for distribution centers
- 5+ years of operational leadership with hands-on experience in supply chain, wholesale, distribution, and logistics.
- Experience building, developing, and leading large teams, with proven ability to implement positive change.
- Knowledgeable with DOT compliance and regulations
- Experience with budget and P&L review/responsibility
- Well versed with safety and maintenance programs
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency, specifically with Excel
- Must be a well-balanced leader with experience building teams and culture, as well as delivering on KPIs and business initiatives
Description:
Seeking a Manager who can thrive in a complex, fast-paced, changing environment while bringing organization and operational excellence to a distribution center in the Greater Seattle Area. In addition, this person will focus on revenue generation, development of the management team, and overall profitability by adding consistency, efficiencies, and structure for our team and business processes.
This is a large site that employs 90 + workers. This is a unionized worksite, and a qualified candidate should have experience in leading unionized teams. We are looking for a very strong and experienced leader who has turnaround experience for distribution centers. Must be a well-balanced leader with experience building teams and culture, as well as delivering on KPIs and business initiatives.
