`The Distribution Center Loss Prevention andSafety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Loss Prevention, Security and Safety operations for an assigned Distribution Center reporting to the Senior Manager, Loss Prevention and Safety – Supply Chain, with input from the Distribution Center General Manager.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary Loss Prevention and Safety partner for the assigned Distribution Center
- Provides recommendations and coordinates implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent execution of Loss Prevention and Safety programs
- Support, review, and manage Physical Security systems within the assigned Distribution Center.
- Provides front-line support to DC leadership in the administration of Loss Prevention, Safety and Security incident reduction programs
- Initiates and responds to Loss Prevention investigations into potential loss or violations of Company policy
- Conducts Shrink, Safety and Security compliance reviews and provides appropriate operational support/follow-up to ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and corrected
- Conducts Loss Prevention, Safety and Security training sessions for DC management and TMs
- Heads DC safety committees
- Analyzes Loss Prevention and safety trends and recommends actions based on findings
- Works with outside agencies (e.g., federal, state and local law enforcement, etc.), as necessary
- Performs special projects at the direction of the Sr. Manager, Loss Prevention and Safety – Supply Chain
Qualifications & Competencies:
- An Associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Distribution Center, Loss Prevention, and/or Safety (or related) experience is required
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written as well as the ability to make effective presentations before groups.
- Proven history of successfully working in a fast-paced environment. Skilled at multi-tasking, organized and able to engage others to problem solve
- Expert knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data mining and analytical capabilities along with a proven aptitude for learning new applications
- Accurate and timely reporting of data
- Proven capability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to respond to issues outside of normal work hours including holidays
