Job Summary:
As a Distribution Center Clerk at Lodge Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently handle the printing, organization, and preparation of paperwork for accurate and timely shipments.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
Summary of Necessary Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- At least two years of prior experience in shipping (preferred).
- Proficiency in PC usage and Microsoft Office applications.
- Forklift License (certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Printing and organizing orders for picking, following customer specifications and routing requirements.
- Analyzing customer orders to gather information required for obtaining routing instructions.
- Efficiently preparing orders for picking, which includes the following:
- Generating pallet labels in sufficient quantities to meet order demands.
- Printing customer carton labels as needed.
- Segregating items by SKU to expedite the picking process.
- Preparing shipping documents and paperwork to meet customer specifications.
- Compiling daily and weekly shipping result reports for supervisor and management review.
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
- Conducting inventory audits and cycle counts for stock locations and picked orders.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S guidelines.
- Undertaking any other job-related duties as assigned.
