- Applying your software engineering expertise to solve large-scale business challenges.
- Architecting robust, scalable, and efficient data serialization, dissemination, and access in a distributed infrastructure.
- Technical breadth and select areas of depth. A broad range of use cases, from low latency read applications in the Netflix streaming critical path, to tooling that enhances developer productivity.
- Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, product managers, and TPMs.
- Engaging with the open-source community and contributing to Netflix OSS.
About You:
- 7+ years experience in crafting complex, scalable distributed data infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Java or C++, with a solid understanding of multi-threading, memory management, and RPC frameworks.
- Previous exposure to in-memory dataset systems, and Hollow experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-impact systems.
- Familiarity with library development, DI frameworks (preferably SpringBoot), and container technologies.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
