Dispensing Optician

Eye Love Care is an optometry practice dedicated to the under-served population in our community.

We are currently hiring for a travelingEyewear Coordinator/Dispensing Optician for our in-school operations.

We are looking for an outgoing team member who is passionate about their community and can work well with children. We are looking for an optician that will be working out of our partner lab in the Denver area and dispensing and adjusting glasses in schools where we have been performing eye exams.

Optician position:

Eye Love Care provides full eye exams and glasses to students within various schools within Denver Metro and Aurora areas as a part of our No Vision Left Behind program.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and verifying glasses from the optical lab.
• Tracking outstanding orders.
• Traveling to different schools within Denver and Aurora to dispense and adjust.
• Liaising with school nurses/administrators.
• Completing back-end tracking and dispense processes.
• Eyewear ordering for remakes and reorders.
• Restyling as needed.
• Working closely with management.

Position Information:

• Position hours are Monday - Friday
• Candidate must be flexible about not working as many hours when schools are out for holidays/breaks, though we will be moving teams around to various other locations and will still have glasses orders.
• Candidates must have optician experience.
• Candidates must be Spanish speaking.
• Candidates must be willing and able to work with children.
• Candidates must be self-starters as this position is managed remotely.
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
• Flexibility is a must!
• Candidates must be highly organized team players.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
