Job Summary:
Canna Remedies Front Desk Associates are friendly, compassionate, and exude professionalism and positivity while representing the brand. Dispensary Front Desk Associates will commonly be the first individuals a customer or visitor comes into contact with at CR and are essential to making everyone feel welcome. These individuals must have strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
The Front Desk Associate will assist in the age verification process, provide guidance on the CR experience, and contribute to a positive environment and professional atmosphere. The Front Desk Associate will also assist the dispensary team with any and all additional tasks as deemed appropriate and within a practical scope.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting all customers and visitors presenting to Canna Remedies dispensary
- Assisting with ID verification and creation of new customer accounts
- Serve as a concierge for customers and visitors, helping to direct the “flow of traffic”
- Answer calls in a friendly and welcoming manner; appropriately and effectively triage calls
- Work with dispensary team members to provide the best possible customer service experience
- Assist in the training of new and current staff members as delegated
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in CR staff trainings and meetings, providing support when needed
- Maintain a basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis use in NJ
- Maintain compliance with NJ CRC Adult Use Cannabis rules and regulations
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience working as an administrative receptionist/assistant favorable
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer systems such as email, Microsoft Suite, and Google Docs
- Knowledge of operation of telecommunication systems, including voicemail, & call forwarding
- Knowledge of cannabis is favorable
- Ability to work independently and as a team with people of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work with and main confidential information
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
