Dispatcher / Load Planner

Split Rock's 3rd party logistics brokerage, is looking for an experienced dispatcher (Load Planner) to join our team. Candidate should have at least 5 plus years of experience working for a 3PL in the industry. This position will be responsible for securing freight needs from customers and matching to an outside carrier. They will be responsible for communicating with shippers, receivers, and drivers throughout the country and monitoring the progress of the freight movement. Developing long term relationships with both customers and carriers is critical, as well as developing new relationships and growing your territory. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, have excellent data entry skills and the ability to multi task and follow policies and procedures. This position requires experience working in the industry as a transportation broker. Candidate should be able to start with their existing relationships; with customers and carriers. We use McLeod Power Broker software and experience using McLeod or TMW is preferred. Company offers competitive salary structure, based on experience, with unlimited commission earning capability. Pay: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
