What We Do

Because we have three main divisions to our company, our services are many. If chosen for the Towing & ServiceDispatcher & Coordinator in Auburn, WA you'll be working in the Pro-Tow division. Pro-Tow offers 24-hour light automotive, medium truck and heavy duty towing services including semi truck accident recovery and emergency spill containment. When required, Pro-Tow will provide load handling and load recovery services, as well as out-of-state transport.

Through Motorplex, we also offer Heavy Truck, Fleet, and RV Repair. When our customers are in trouble, we offer mobile emergency repair to reduce the need for towing.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls for towing services, impounded vehicles and accidents.
• Coordinate and dispatch multiple drivers and technicians.
• Perform releases and cashier duties for impounded vehicles working with potentially dishonest, demanding and challenging customers.
• Process impoundment paperwork and maintain compliant with all requirements regarding towing and impoundment legislation.
• Billing and collection for towing services.
• Manage abandoned vehicle auctions.
• Manage cash and deposits.
• Administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Occasional backup night dispatch duties from home.

Valuable Assets

• Experience working in the skilled labor/trades industry.
• Emergency call center or dispatch experience.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to type above 50wpm and/or 10 key skills.
• Capable of using and learning to use new technology, troubleshooting problems without IT support.
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic that requires minimal supervision.
• The desire to go above and beyond minimum expectations.
• Sales experience. You must sell your ability to help someone, selling the unique skills of our technicians and drivers that will be dispatched.
• The ability to work under high pressure in a demanding industry with good prioritizing and organization skills.
• Professional and strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Available to work daytime 8 hour shift and 40 hours per week.
• Must not use drugs (including marijuana at all, in any method, and have not anytime within the last 6 months) and cannot consume alcohol during working hours.
• Must meet WSP criminal background check standards.
