Job Description
Our Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching cleaning personnel to aircraft cleaning assignments. This role involves efficiently scheduling and prioritizing cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with aviation cleanliness and safety standards, and communicating with cleaning staff and airline representatives. You will play a pivotal role in managing cleaning operations to meet tight turnaround times between flights and maintain a high level of cleanliness within aircraft cabins. Additionally, you may assist in resolving operational challenges and provide support to cleaning teams to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A DISPATCHER
  • Coordinate and dispatch cleaning crews to various locations within airports across the country
  • Manage and monitor the cleaning schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with site managers and their cleaning teams to relay special instructions and updates
  • Revise service requests as needed
  • Respond to cleaning requests and emergencies from airport staff in a timely manner
  • Keep track of crew locations, progress, and closeouts using relevant software systems
  • Prioritize cleaning tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Report to a lead or supervisor
  • Carry out other duties assigned
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • You have a great attention to detail

  • You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks

  • Physical activity may include:
    • This position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
    • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment
    • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • 1-2 years of experience in Microsoft and outlook or intermediate knowledge of
  • Ability to proficiently use outlook, excel, and various apps
  • Maintain a good attendance rate
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
    • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
