Job Snapshot:
- Day shift schedule, Monday – Friday
- Benefit and 401k options.
- You will help to dismantle vehicles safely and efficiently which will include but not be limited to the removal of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, water pumps, alternators etc
- Will be responsible for the labeling and tagging of parts
- Responsible for checking the quality and product type of all removed parts
- Dismantlers test engine and all electrical parts including batteries
- Responsible for draining and storing fluids
- Dismantlers are also in charge of maintaining a clean workspace and filling out all required work order paperwork
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of hands-on automotive repair/dismantling experience or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of the function of automobile parts
- May be required to own and maintain all the necessary mechanical tools including but not limited to hand tools, wrenches and power tools such as drills/drivers etc. Varies site-to-site and will be discussed during interview.
- Be able to lift at least 75lbs
