Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and assembly for catering events
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Note: This position involves both cooking and dishwashing duties in a high volume yet small cafe/diner. The candidate should be comfortable with performing both tasks saturday and Sunday. This position also recieves daily cash tip payouts in addition to regular paychecks. Training as line cook can increase hours and pay.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
