Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu planning and dietary department guidelines
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and help with food service tasks as needed
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations
- Ability to use kitchen equipment, including knives, safely and effectively
Skills:
- Strong cooking skills and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
