Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Job Description
Responsibilities:

• wash dishes at a fast pace.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly stored and labeled
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with the catering and banquet teams to ensure timely and efficient service

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices

Skills:

• Kitchen operations: Ability to operate kitchen equipment, follow recipes, and execute cooking techniques
• Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed, including bussing tables or supporting catering events
• Cook: Proficiency in cooking various types of dishes, following recipes, and ensuring food quality
• Bussing: Ability to clear tables, clean dining areas, and maintain a neat appearance in the restaurant

• Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques such as chopping, slicing, and marinating
• Cleanliness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment following proper sanitation guidelines
• Hospitality: Understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide excellent service to guests
