Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department. This position requires a strong understanding of food industry practices, culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety.

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and production of food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to maintain freshness and quality
- Collaborate with the culinary team in menu planning and recipe development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with catering events and special functions as needed
- Support the dietary department in meeting the nutritional needs of residents or customers

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,500.00 per month
