Harry's Bar & Grill is a new mid-sized, locally-owned diner & bar in downtown Iowa City, IA. We serve scratch-made, tasty comfort food and drink.

Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Please note that this position requires working weekends, as well as holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.25 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
