Job Description
$16.50 to $18.50 per hour including tips.
- Cleans dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils in a sanitary manner throughout the shift.
- Restocks of the food preparation line.
- Loads, runs, and unloads the dish machine, keeps the dish machine clean and stock clean dishes, silverware and glassware.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen area, as well as bagging and hauling kitchen trash to the dumpster when needed.
- Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
- Assists kitchen with any additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or a Sous chef.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
- Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
- Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Prolonged periods walking or standing.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
- Must frequently immerse hands in water.
- Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
Riverview Restaurant, east county's premiere upscale dining is currently hiring for the following positions. We are located on the Sandy River adjacent to the Stark Street bridge.
