Food Works Management, a Delaware based Food Service Company has an opportunity for a Dishwasher in the Wilmington, Delaware area to join our team. Hours are Monday thru Friday! No Weekends!

Dishwasher:
This position requires someone who can pay attention to detail, have a strong work ethic, and a good attendance record. Must have high sanitation standards and practices. You may be required to assist with deliveries so you must have valid driver’s license with a clean record. Reliability, honesty, and punctuality required.

Qualifications: Clean driving record. No CDL required. Understanding and compliance with all traffic rules, laws, and practices.

Education: High School diploma.

Responsibilities:

• Loading meals accurately & delivering them within deadline daily to area accounts.
• Maintains kitchen equipment in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Will be required to assist with food preparation.
• Responsible for general kitchen duties including dish washing and janitorial assignments.
• Reports any equipment needs or issues to the Food Service Manager.
• Follows posted Sanitation Schedule and always ensures a clean and organized work area.
• Other responsibilities as requested by the Shift Supervisor or Food Service Manager.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow directions.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of basic food service sanitation and proper food handling.
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate good customer service skills; previous customer interaction/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to use industrial equipment and knowledge of basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use proper judgement and to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to accept direction and adhere to operating, company and safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand up 8 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work within deadlines.

All candidates must submit to a State, FBI Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, Drug Testing, and DMV driving record check.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday day work. Daytime work. No Weekends

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
