Dishwasher Position
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sanitizes utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment according to department guidelines.
- Operates and maintains all cleaning and washing equipment at proper temperature and proper operating order.
- Properly dries and stores all utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment.
- Maintains a clean floor in the dishwashing room.
- Adheres to safe handling procedures for all cleaning compounds.
- Disposes of garbage in proper waste containers.
- Assists in some food and/or tray preparation as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by kitchen Manger-on-duty
