Dishwasher

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development in the culinary industry.

Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and cutting vegetables
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors
- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes during busy periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from superiors
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
