THRX Fest is seeking a talented and energetic DJ to join our team for our two-day event, comprising the Pre-Launch Party on March 12th and the Artist Showcase on March 13th. This individual will play a crucial role in setting the tone and atmosphere for both events.

Event Details:

• Pre-Launch Party (March 12th):
• Date: March 12th
• Time: 12pm-7pm
• Location: Abe's Hookah Lounge
• Purpose: Pre-launch celebration for THRX Fest, generating excitement and anticipation for the main event.
• Responsibilities:
• Provide a diverse and engaging musical experience, catering to the audience and ambiance of the hookah lounge.
• Create a seamless flow of music, incorporating various genres and styles to keep guests entertained and energized.
• Collaborate with event organizers to coordinate set times, special requests, and any technical requirements.
• Artist Showcase (March 13th):
• Date: March 13th
• Time: 12pm-8pm
• Location: Tellers 607 Trinity St
• Purpose: Showcasing THRX Fest artists and performers, fostering an immersive and dynamic atmosphere.
• Responsibilities:
• Curate a vibrant and eclectic playlist that complements the diverse range of performances and artistic expressions.
• Transition smoothly between sets, enhancing the overall experience for attendees and performers alike.
• Work closely with event organizers to ensure seamless integration of music with live performances and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DJ, with a strong portfolio of successful performances at various venues and events.
• Proficiency in mixing and blending different musical genres, catering to diverse audiences and preferences.
• Ability to read the crowd and adapt the music selection accordingly, maintaining energy levels and atmosphere throughout the event.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a professional and adaptable approach to working with event organizers and fellow performers.
• Passion for music, art, and cultural events, with a keen understanding of the role of music in shaping memorable experiences.
