Overview

We are looking for a talented Verification Methodology Director for high performance SOCs, to lead the overall verification and validation strategy working closely with system architects, SOC design architects and designers, software architects and developers.

 

Resposibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to 

  • Drive and direct DV and silicon design teams in determining the proper verification strategy for performance design
  • Define and provide feedback on test plans and develop / implement coverage plans
  • Participate and review verification & validation approaches for efficiency
  • Drive paradigm shifts in verification & validation execution including team structures, tool usage, methods, processes for high quality tape out
  • Ensure & define content for different verification & validation execution steps and setting priorities
  • Drive the verification and validation plans that are consistent with the requirements and specification
  • Continuously improve the process, verification/validation methods and tools, driving the SOC & IP team to achieve successful tape out.

 

Qualifications

  • Can - do attitude; openness to new environment, people and culture
  • Master of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 15 years of experience in managing verification technology and teams
  • In depth knowledge of industry standard tools and methods such as:
       Synopsys VCS, Mentor/Siemens Questasim, Cadence Xcelium, OVM/UVM and UPF, QT, Palledium, Proteum, Zebu etc
  • Experience in heterogeneous system level verification and validation with tight real time constraints
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving, teamwork, attention to detail, commitment to task, and quality focus
  • Passion for continuously improving the verification/validation processes, methods, tracking mechanisms, coverage, automation and quality
  • Presentation and negotiation skills with ability to convincing others to own ideas
  • Strong drive & ability to coordinate work across a cross functional, highly experienced global team
