The Director of Vascular services and stroke will have the overall responsibility for the successful development and implementation of strategic, programmatic, and operational planning for the Vascular and Stroke service line at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. The Director will be responsible for budgeting, business plans, and planning related to the service line. The Director will also be responsible for achieving top decile performance in relevant value based purchasing and quality indicators. The position will improve quality, standardize protocols, policies, clinical pathways, and increase physician engagement and subsequent adoption of practice changes. The successful candidate must work with multiple departments across the enterprise to successfully navigate the role. Also key to this role is working closely with the VA hospital in downtown Tulsa to provide vascular services to its patients. Direct reports include Cath Lab, Dialysis, Sleep Medicine, Wound Care, and the stroke program. The position will report directly (but not limited to) the Executive Director of Nursing.

Master's degree
Current OK RN License
BLS ACLS
More than 5 years experience in a clinical setting - Vascular experience preferred
Experience working in an academic setting with chairs, fellows, residents, and medical students.
Strong financial acument and can develop proposals.
