Director, Us Tax

Our client is a leader in Electricity and Natural Gas distribution. They are looking for a Tax Director to join their team. The role offers a great hybrid schedule with the capacity to work from home 3 to 4 days a week!

Your responsibilities will be:

• Oversees all US income tax compliance and reporting requirements including GILTI, Subpart F and the preparation of international forms, information statements and disclosures in the federal tax return and the principle contact for government tax audits

• Preparation of the quarterly tax provision in accordance with US GAAP along with related tax note disclosures

• Builds credible, collaborative, and effective working relationships within finance and across the organization to ensure tax risks are proactively managed

• Driving value for the organization as the US lead on global tax assignments and a direct support to the SVP Tax on enterprise-wide tax, operating and business transaction projects

• Oversight of US tax payments and estimates communicated to Treasury and overall responsible over US tax accounts to ensure activity and balances appropriately reflect the Company’s tax position and status

• Providing business analysis upon request, including NOL and tax credit and expected future cash taxes

• Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place over the US tax functions

• Actively monitor, assess the impact of, and respond to potential US tax changes impacting

• Bachelor degree
• US Corporate Tax and international tax experience
• Tax compliance and provisions
• CPA required
• 10+ years of experience
