This person will define and execute the planning strategic goals aligned with the business strategy to drive growth, margin, and cash-flow improvements through a high-performing team. The role requires a high degree of business acumen, collaboration, and communication to deliver excellence from customer order to delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Define planning strategy and drive execution excellence.
- Lead and manage the Sales & Operational Planning process with transformational and continuous improvement mindsets as necessary across the stages.
- Define and execute a plan to balance demand, supply, capacity, and inventory to deliver top-tier customer service.
- In partnership with Business Unit teams, define the network strategy of producing the right product at the right location to balance service, speed of responsiveness, and costs.
Establish a forward-looking supply chain mindset through internal and external partnerships.
- Analyze demand requirements against supply capacities to develop near and long-term supply plans for 8th Avenue manufacturing facilities and distribution sites.
- Develop and/or recommend alternative production and distribution plans to alleviate short supply issues and maximize service levels.
- Lead and/or participate in product life cycle management activities for the phase-in of new products and discontinuation of end-of-life SKUs - coordinating with other functions to maximize service and minimize inventory risks.
- Review and redefine planning data in all Supply Planning systems (production wheels, planning parameters, safety stocks, etc.)
- Standardize and streamline the planning process, information, and governance across BUs.
Build People, Process, and Technology Capabilities.
- Enhance scenario planning capability, set inventory guidelines, seasonal build process, and run the right product at the right location at the right cost.
- Establish a motivated high-performance culture within the Supply Planning environment.
- Build people capability through individual development plans, career, and growth aspirations.
- Champion the supply chain digital journey through process simplification, advanced analytics, and planning systems that can streamline the flow of information and make life easier for planners.
- Work collaboratively with other critical business functions, including Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics, and Distribution.
Drive top-tier performance across critical Planning KPIs
- Customer Service journey to 98%+
- Inventory holding of < 50 Days on Hand
- Inventory freshness to minimize obsolescence to <2%
- S&OP maturity of 3 - 4 as per Gartner benchmark
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors' degree from a 4-year college / university in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, Finance or Economics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Food/CPG/B2B industry across Supply Planning, demand planning, and/or materials planning, preferably with those 10 years in a Supply Planning Manager role.
- 5 years of people management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be proficient / fluent in the communication of the English language.
- Highly analytical with practical experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Etc.)
- Intermediate Proficiency with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and powerPoint.
- Demonstrates of all parameters, factors, inputs and outputs required to develop effective supply plans and drive best practice and process improvements.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid S. Driver's License required.
- APICS CPIM certification desired
Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, kneel, stand, stoop, and walk Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, and work off ladder.
- Must be able to work in dusty, hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environmnet.
- Must be able to use hands to perform simple grasping & fine manipulation for 6+ hours per shift.
- Must be able to lift, move or otherwise negotiate up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to wear a respirator, as needed.
- Must be able to distinguish objects or equipment visually.
Travel:
- This position may travel up to 15-20 % of the time.
