JAGGAER is seeking a Director, Pricing Strategy, to develop and drive the Pricing Strategy across the company and conduct the analytics to assess pricing optimization effectiveness and identify improvement areas. As Director, Pricing Strategy, you will establish metrics to monitor pricing, collect these metrics regularly, and use this fact base with stakeholder input, external research, etc., to develop pricing tactics and optimization initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Spearhead the development of a unified global product Pricing Strategy, emphasizing value enhancement throughout customer engagement levels.  
• Establish and refine standardized processes and tools for existing and new products, encompassing third-party partner referral and resale pricing. 
• Conduct ongoing commercial performance assessments, identify pricing optimization opportunities, and provide strategic insights to product management and service strategy.  
• Manage detailed pricing analytics, including win/loss metrics, discounting activities, geographic performance, and regular pricing updates, utilizing data to inform decision-making.  
• Optimize the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) engine, ensuring its effectiveness and supporting the implementation of any new engine for continuous price quoting activities.  
• Facilitate regular review meetings with product, commercial leadership, and finance to evaluate performance and pinpoint potential pricing opportunities. 
• By leveraging standardized pricing processes and tools, foster organizational alignment across business units, geographies, verticals, and products.  
• Collaborate with sales SVPs to align field perspectives on pricing activities and changes.  
• Establish and maintain a repository of competitive knowledge, capabilities, and pricing to inform strategic decision-making.  
• Ensure value messaging, international sales team training, and real-time pricing support, maintaining updated training materials.  
• Partner closely with Product, Finance, Sales, and IT to capture and make available appropriate data elements for comprehensive analysis. 

What You Will Bring: 

• Pricing strategy expertise: Demonstrated experience in monetization strategy and pricing/packaging optimization, preferably in B2B Enterprise Software. 
• Prior experience defining, executing, and bringing new B2B packaging and pricing changes and growth strategies to market. 

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior management across the organization. 
• 5+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing, or Business Management experience. 
• Minimally five years of data analytics experience. 
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software/SaaS licensing usage reporting systems is a plus. 
• Genuine excitement and passion for analyzing large, complex data sets and transforming them into business insights and recommendations.
