PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Provides leadership, develops education materials, and oversees the administration of education and training programs pertaining to Fresenius Rx (FRx) services and to our external Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC), (e.g., Field Operations, Clinical Services and Medical Office) business lanes. Leadership is through Pharmacy Services and FRx Account Management (FAM). Direct report is to the Senior Director, FAM. Materials are to be developed that address the needs of FRx and to meet the needs of our external FKC customers. Materials and programs are to be developed with input from the customer, and the Director's position will need to be linked with FKC Clinical Services Team and Field Operations leadership. This position will be responsible for the training associated with the education materials and will oversee a process to determine efficacy and efficiency of said programs. In addition to a direct report to the Sr Director, FAM, this person will have networking with FKC marketing, legal and compliance and the FRx Leadership Team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for the development and implementation of FRx education materials through the FRx Account Management (FAM) team
- Materials will be developed with renal experience and clinical expertise that constitutes timely and effective solutions for educating the FKC teams and creates value for the FRx business.
- Delivers effective clinical and pharmacy-based presentations and educational programs for internal FRx staff, our business partners, and clinicians.
- Leads the development of pre-launch and launch of materials and education plans for programs, leading up to the development and implementation of actual materials.
- Develops claims, messages, and materials in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including development with FKC leadership and staff.
- Develops, manages, and leverages clinical relationships with current and new clinical experts in the renal and pharma industry.
- Represents a key component of the Dialys team (e.g., Dietitian), has this general awareness and uses it to develop educational materials and programs.
- Participates in the development and execution of clinical expert outreach plans.
- Manages and maintains extensive library of FRx FAM and FKC marketing materials as needed to address FRx education and marketing programs.
- Along with FKC Marketing, creates effective clinical marketing communications programs to maximize business efficiency and FRx ROI.
- Along with FKC Marketing, leads the development of clinical tactics to include advertising, brochures, direct mail campaigns, and account management materials.

SUPERVISION:

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced Degree desired.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-5 years' experience in the dialysis industry in a role of clinical leadership (e.g., nurse, dietitian, social worker).
- 3-5 years' experience with development of education materials and management of education process.
- Proven leadership of teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong management skills with the abillty to lead cohesive and productive teams.
- Knowledge of dialysis practice
- Ability to manage multiple projects at same time.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
