The Director, Patient Experience Oncology is responsible for owning the strategy for Patient Experience after the treatment decision has been made. You will be responsible for leading an aligned team to design and deliver the end-to-end Patient Experience for patients starting J&J therapies. You will work closely with the brand teams and Patient Experience operations teams – including patient services, reimbursement services, specialty pharmacy, supplier management and compliance – to deliver, measure and optimize the patient journey, ensuring that more patients can start and stay on therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead insight generation to understand patient unmet needs for patient support and identify leverage points where impact can be made.
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (brand DOMs, PECS solution leads, CIS team, finance, Legal, HCC) to develop and deploy differentiating solutions to help patients start and stay on therapy.
- Prepare patient support offerings for new product launches, including innovative solutions to support new GTM models.
- Compliantly increase appropriate solution utilization and measure solution impact.
- Manage operational requirements for PECS Oncology resources: OPEX, GTN, forecasting for supply chain.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or relevant industry.
- Must have a proven track record of exceptional team & cross functional leadership.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership presence through influencing without authority with high-level management, detailed orientation, and excellent critical thinking.
- Strong leadership skills with a clear ability to demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication and strategic acumen skills.
- Possess a deep understanding of the disease states, and overall knowledge of the evolving marketplace.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, as are the abilities to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies
- An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time and driving decision making is required.
- Strong executive verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office 365 platform (Incl PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oncology experience is strongly preferred.
- An advanced degree in business is preferred.
- Launch experience and demonstrated ability to work with regional partners is preferred.
- In-line pharmaceutical marketing experience with brand responsibility is preferred.
- Market access, marketing support, or sales management/training experience implementing marketing strategy is preferred.
- Experience with patient support programs.
This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 20% domestic travel.
