Title: Sr. Manager/Director Operational Services and Development Operations
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Some travel required)

We’re currently looking to place a Sr. Manager/Director of Operational Services and Development Operations. This is a permanent position with tremendous potential for growth. The successful candidate will possess talents in product development and delivery of Enterprise SaaS solutions. There is a preference for candidates who have worked in the retail industry building software solutions for merchandising or pricing. You will be required to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, where collaboration and customer relationship skills are a must.
This position works collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams. The successful candidate will have experience building and operating scalable applications that load and process very large data sets, in addition to highly mathematical science-based solutions that leverage machine learning. Strong management skills and experience with software development lifecycle methodologies is a must. The successful candidate will also possess extraordinary skills in troubleshooting, data analytics, software technology, and understanding data.
Your role:
- Build and maintain alerting and operations systems to detect daily data loading and processing issues, ensuring that processing is not interrupted.
- Ensure data integrity within the system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Maintain the code repository for data loading and integrity checking, manage code branches, and ensure that no code is regressed.
- Validate new releases from engineering through acceptance testing.
- Maintain and document backup and recovery processes.
- Maintain security across production, staging, QA, and Development environments.
What you’ve got:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Business discipline required.
- Experience with SaaS architectures and cloud technology, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred.
- Strong skills and experience with security.
- Experience implementing and maintaining strong processes.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, project management, people, and leadership skills.
- Strong programming skills in tools such as Pentaho and Python.
- Displays superior business acumen and communications skills working effectively with corporate leadership teams.
- Adds value to the organization and can liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Takes initiative to identify and address issues and opportunities, and proactively contributes to the business.
