Job Description

As the Director of Wholesale Sales, you will be overseeing North America, and partnering with the President of North America on the account strategy and execution of our Canada and USA wholesale business.

We are looking for a resourceful leader, able to effectively lead and deliver top and bottom-line results. You will be responsible for encouraging a passion for our product and brand while encouraging positive relationships to deepen our partnership with our existing and evolving wholesale partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive the Wholesale business, placing an emphasis on elevating the channel within the market; drive a full-price proposition for the brand
  • Directly responsible for sales and profit performance of the channel in the market (handle all open to buy, gross margin analysis and RTVs)
  • Work strategically to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual targets in sales bookings, sales performance and positioning in channel.
  • Lead and empower regional sales team, providing continual mentorship and tools to successfully lead and improve their accounts (Ex. Mentoring, development, etc.)
  • Partner with Marketing and Ecommerce/Digital to bringing the North America strategy to life
  • Lead, develop and maintain positive relationships with management and buyers in key department stores and higher end specialty boutiques within the region
  • Works collaboratively with Planning teams to improve pre-season account planning, as well as capitalizing on in season opportunities
  • Lead weekly selling at the style & door level to increase efficiency, suggest reorders and capitalize on selling trends
  • Foster and strengthen consumer relationships though regular account and store visits
  • Develop relationships with all internal cross functional departments striving to drive effective communication, collaboration, and execution (Merchandise Planning, Sales Operations, Marketing and Digital)
  • Manage showroom markets in New York and Toronto seasonally
  • 10 years of relevant sales experience with at least 2 years in a sales management role
  • Strong existing relationships and understanding of working with key high-end US and Canada major accounts

Salary range: 

  • $100000- $165000 / year USD
