Job description

The Director of Visual Presentation directs and supports an active selling culture. This role will Plan and Implement the visual standards across all dispensaries. The goal is to drive brand awareness to the target audience. The Director of Visual Presentation oversees display initiatives and ensures they correspond to the overall organizational decisions and objectives.

Pay Range: $95k- $125k

What You'll Do

  • Create and oversee and execution of floorsets, merchandising guidelines, promotions and planograms.
  • Supports store implementation of company initiatives and strategies.
  • Partner with the VP, Retail to ensure all corporate visual objectives are translated to store level.
  • Partner with Regional Directors, SM's, Visual Supervisors to ensure the execution of TPCO brand standards.
  • Reacts quickly to store callouts regarding product sell-through and new deliveries.
  • Ensure all product updates and photos are updated on website.
  • Conduct effective store visits in partnership with the VP, Retail and Regional Director.
  • Identifies, assesses and develops visual talent within stores, and regions.
  • Train, develop and provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge and to ensure stores are delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Understands merchandise flow standards; backroom organization and how it effects floor set execution, replenishment and recovery and the overall in-store brand experience.
  • Provides essential global feedback from the field to influence future directives.
  • Supports all Visual Presentation aspects of new store openings within the company.
  • Supports stores by conducting a monthly visual audit to ensure visual expectations are met.
  • Builds vendor partnerships and creates guidelines for store takeovers
  • Partner with vendors to ensure displays support brand presentations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as outlined and assigned by management.

What You Have

  • 3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising + Planograms
  • Proven leadership track record
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and sensitivity to details
  • Ability to contribute and add value individually as well as create a great working relationship with cross-functional teams
  • Capacity to convey new ideas
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word, InDesign, Photoshop.

Working Environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work

Travel:

  • This position may require up to 35% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight
  • Retail: This position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in proximity with customers and staff.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and may work in proximity with customers and staff.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Frequent travel required.
  • Requires travel to different dispensaries and locations throughout assigned area, particularly during peak times.

Job Requirements

  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or local Police Department.
