Director of T&D Storm Response

The Director of T&D Storm Response is responsible for leading the team responsible for restoring power to customers after storms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storm restoration, electrical transmission and distribution, and high voltage utility construction as a whole.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team responsible for restoring power to customers after storms
• Develop and implement Storm Response plans
• Coordinate with other utility companies and emergency response agencies
• Monitor the weather and forecast storms
• Ensure that the team has the resources they need to respond to storms
• Evaluate the performance of the team and make improvements as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in storm restoration, electrical transmission and distribution, and high voltage utility construction
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
