HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Strategic Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue strategic business opportunities by engaging with key industry leaders, C-suite executives, and decision-makers.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and client needs, using these insights to develop tailored solutions and innovative offerings.
- Formulate and execute strategies to enter new markets, forge partnerships, and enhance Direct Agents' reputation as a trusted and innovative Digital Marketing partner.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to align agency & product positioning across all external messaging
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Take a leadership role in shaping the strategic direction of our sales efforts, overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and establish Direct Agents as a market leader in the Digital Marketing industry.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture
Customized Solutions and Client Engagement
- Develop and present high-impact proposals, pitches, and presentations that showcase Direct Agents' expertise and unique value proposition.
- Lead qualification efforts, conducting in-depth discussions with potential clients to uncover their goals, challenges, and vision.
- Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of our services and guiding clients towards solutions that drive significant results for their businesses.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional experiences and adding consistent value.
- Anticipate client needs, address concerns proactively, and exceed expectations, positioning Direct Agents as an indispensable partner in their success.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their evolving requirements and align our services to meet their strategic objectives effectively.
Pipeline Management and Reporting
- Utilize advanced reporting tools to manage the sales pipeline meticulously, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
- Provide regular and insightful updates to the leadership team, contributing to data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Implement data-driven approaches to optimize sales processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize revenue generation.
Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance Direct Agents' visibility and network with potential clients.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices within the Digital Marketing landscape, integrating this knowledge into our strategic initiatives.
- Position Direct Agents as a thought leader in the industry, sharing insights and expertise through publications, speaking engagements, and online platforms.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Foster seamless collaboration and communication with internal departments, ensuring a deep understanding of Direct Agents' capabilities and solutions.
- Facilitate a culture of shared knowledge and insights, promoting a unified client experience and maximizing the impact of our services across various client engagements.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Proven track record, spanning 6+ years, of successful sales leadership and business development in the Digital Marketing industry or similar.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team, driving them towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of Digital Marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Exemplify an entrepreneurial spirit that fuels your ambition to explore new avenues, seize opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by embracing challenges and adapting swiftly to changing circumstances.
- Readiness to travel for critical in-person engagements, meetings, industry conferences, and events as needed. Your presence in these contexts will facilitate valuable networking and relationship-building opportunities.

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.

ESSENTIALS & PERKS
- A competitive starting base salary ranging from $110,000 - $130,000 with additional commission based compensation.
- Regular performance reviews occur at 1, 3, 6, 11 month marks during onboarding and biannually after that.
