Director Of Rooms

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rooms to oversee the operations and management of our hotel's rooms division. As the Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional standards in cleanliness, comfort, and service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of the rooms division, including front desk operations, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services - Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates - Monitor and analyze room rates and availability to optimize pricing strategies - Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive bookings and increase revenue - Manage the budget for the rooms division, including forecasting expenses and revenue - Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service - Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards - Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hotel management Experience: - Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of revenue management principles and practices - Proven track record in budgeting and financial management - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction - Proficiency in using hotel management software systems - Familiarity with night audit procedures and phone systems - Multilingual abilities are a plus As an equal opportunity employer, we value diversity in our workforce. Pay: $96,590.00 - $105,725.00 per year
