ShipMonk is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Revenue Operations to lead our revenue-focused initiatives and drive operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our sales processes, enhancing customer engagement, and maximizing revenue generation through the alignment of sales, marketing, and customer success functions. This role will play a pivotal part in driving revenue growth, streamlining operational workflows, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure the achievement of Revenue targets and overall business success.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Revenue Operations strategy that aligns sales, marketing, and customer success functions to drive revenue growth and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Revenue Operations professionals, providing guidance and support to optimize sales processes, enhance customer engagement, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success leadership to define and implement best practices, processes, and tools that support revenue generation and customer retention.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Revenue Operations, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous performance optimization.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of sales enablement programs, tools, and training to empower the sales team and enhance their effectiveness in driving revenue.
  • Partner with finance and other relevant stakeholders to develop and manage revenue forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Drive the adoption and utilization of CRM systems (Salesforce) and other sales and marketing technologies to improve sales and operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and provide strategic recommendations to support revenue growth and operational optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in Revenue Operations, and drive the adoption of innovative approaches and tools to enhance our capabilities.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience of 7 or more years in Revenue Operations, sales operations, or related roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth and operational improvements in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Revenue Operations team.
  • Excellent understanding of sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and revenue optimization, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales and marketing technologies, as well as proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

It is preferred this individual sits local to ShipMonk's corporate HQ in Fort Lauderdale, FL. However, we are open to individuals sitting remotely and working Eastern Standard Time zone hours.
