THE POSITION

As Director of Repair and Overhaul (R&O) Mechanical Component Materials at Honeywell, you will drive global oversight of the R&O Materials Execution teams at the Global R&O Mechanical Component sites, supporting the MRO activities of Honeywell's world-class products. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the processes, tools, and Management Operation System for all Gate 2 MRO activities for Mechanical Components, defining and deploying best practices and standard work, and driving successful Annual Operating Plan attainment with a specific focus on R&O delivery performance. You will work closely with the Global Repair & Overhaul Engineering (GROE team) Mechanical Component teams to drive margin expansion through reduced reliance on new part consumption with our Repair and Overhaul activities. You will also partner with Customer & Product Support, Planning, Procurement, Rate Readiness, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Be a member of the Repair & Overhaul Global Integrated Supply Chain Leadership team working for the Global R&O Sr. Director Materials.
  • Be a role model demonstrating Honeywell Behaviors
  • Own, develop, and enhance the processes, tools, and Management Operation System for the global R&O Mechanical Component Site Materials Execution teams
  • Define and deploy best practices and standard work
  • Develop breakthrough objectives and responsible for the successful execution and attainment of revenue and margin targets.
  • Coach and mentor embedded R&O site materials execution teams on how to execute performance levers to enable customer satisfaction
  • Drive the operating system focused on Turn Around Time and fidelity of Mechanical Component site shipment plans
  • Drive successful Annual Operating Plan attainment with a specific focus on R&O delivery performance

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of Materials Management
  • Extensive materials management knowledge, preferably with Mechanical Component Repair & Overhaul
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and demand planning
  • Proven track record leading teams to successful results
  • Willingness to raise standards each year to drive organizational excellence
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally
