Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking an exceptional Director of People Services (HR) to join our dynamic team at Pier Sixty-Six Resort. As the Director of People Services, you will plan and implement policies relating to all phases of human resources activities including recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, wage and hour issues, and employee safety. Responsibilities: - Lead the team in creating and enforcing company policies and standards that are consistent with our values, and ensure compliance with all EEO/Affirmative Action requirements.
- Oversee management of all team member benefits, including rate renewal negotiations, claims handling, market surveys, and open enrollment meetings, with the goal of creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported.
- Counsel employees and managers on employee relations issues and problems, ensuring that disciplinary actions and terminations are carried out legally and consistently, while also fostering a positive and supportive team member environment.
- Manage compensation programs through job market analyses and makes recommendations on position wage ranges in a systematic and consistent manner.
- Oversee all aspects of Performance Management, with a focus on creating an environment that supports professional growth and development, and recognizes the achievements and contributions of our team members.
- Ensure that pay increases and performance appraisals are completed, submitted, and received in a timely manner.
- Oversee all company-wide training and development programs that are administered, with a focus on creating opportunities for our team members to learn, grow, and develop their skills, in alignment with our values of continuous learning and professional development.
- Oversee coordination of all employee recognition programs and events, creating opportunities for our team members to celebrate their achievements and connect with each other.
- Prepare and monitor the People Services budget, ensuring that resources are allocated in alignment with our goals.
- Provide leadership, supervise, train, and evaluate People Services staff, creating a supportive and collaborative team environment that embodies the CoralTree values.
- Proven track record of success in all aspects of recruiting, international and domestic.
- Previous experience in partnering with key leaders at the property to achieve property and organizational objectives.
- A Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field. A PHR or SPHR Certification is also preferred.
- A minimum of 7-10 years professional experience in People Services, including 3 years supervising and managing staff in the Hotel/Resort environment.
- Excellent command of various federal, state, and local employment practices laws and regulations.
- High energy, strong leadership skills and work ethic, and a high level of integrity.
- Effective oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
